Diffractive Media Space is a White Page Gallery that focuses on experimental media art specifically engaging diffractive vs representational approaches to moving images and arts based research.

"Diffraction does not produce ‘the same’ displaced, as reflection and refraction do. Diffraction is a mapping of interference, not of replication, reflection, or reproduction. A diffraction pattern does not map where differences appear, but rather maps where the effects of differences appear.” - Donna J. Haraway

The history of the video art genera signal processing utilizes the diffractive lens of technology to investigate alternative ways of seeing and making. Work found here are kin to these histories and practices.
